No trip codes after Disconnecting AIR & pump?
No trip codes after Disconnecting AIR & pump? I have a 01 SS, I disconnected the AIR and air pump from my car to clean up the engine compartment, I wanted to get to my spark plugs and see my headers easeier. It's been two weeks now and I still have not tripped any codes, I did leave what looks like a valve in the back of the engine on the drivers side where all the air hoses connected. I guess what I'm asking is what is that part that all the AIR hoses connect to? and what is the funtion of that part? I't also has a thin plastic line that runs out the top of it and is connected to what looks like a pressure transducer. should I leave it there or should I remove it?(new car crap).
