timing dip in table?????
timing dip in table????? I originally noticed the dip in timing while logging my 00 m6. Upon pruchasing ls1 edit I also see the same dip in the PE timing table. From 4000-5000 approx there is about a 3-4 degree drop in timing.
Does anybody know why this is??
Only thoughts I had was this may be around peak torque (max cylinder pressure). But dyno charts say TQ peak occurs higher.
Ideas???

Re: timing dip in table????? My thoughts exactly. Wonder what a little more timing will do here. Car does'nt seem to knock very easy. this cold air plus we are up at almost 6000 ft. Tuning is always fun.
