If running an ORP (no cats), will the engine perform the same if the rear O2's are removed via LS1edit as it would if O2 simms are installed.
Are the rear O2 ONLY for detecting bad cats, or do they actually have some impact on the way the engine runs. Example, does the engine try to run richer or leaner if it THINKS the cats are bad?
Thanks for any info!

...according to a post on this board, LS1 Tundercat Tuner will not be released for sale until the end of 2003!
....so much for any compentitive pricing pressure on LS1Edit...

Rear O2's are only used to report catalyst efficiency when PCM tests for it. I didnt know LS1edit could delete rear o2's?

Hi Gillbot,
Thank you for your e-mail regarding the C.A.T.S. Tuner program.
We are working on an OBDII version of the Tuner program now that will support the LS1's. We hope to have this version available later this spring.
If you have any other questions, or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,
TC
