Would this work? I am building a pro-touring 68 Camaro...I already have an LS1 T56 combo from a 2000 Camaro...I have the computer and everything. I want to use ported LS6 heads from Scoggin Dickey as well as the LS6 Cam and Intake...Could I just buy a computer from a 2003 ZO6 and use that istead of using the Camaro computer...or is there a tuner like the predator that can do this tuning for me..I want to try and stay away from custom computer tuning because the car will be twin turboed later on and I want to spend the tuning money then rather than now...

Re: Would this work? I would say the answer is to get LS1Edit and tune it yourself. Its not really difficult to do, it just takes a lot of practace to get the hang of it.
The thing with the Z06 computer is, first is that cam the same as what is in the computer (was the computer tuned to that cam). If not then you are scrapped right there. Next is are you using the Z06 MAF? Do the ported heads somehow change the flow charactoristic therby requiring a new tuning? The list of possible problems keeps going and going <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . If you just tune the car yourself, then you can change the tunning to match your combination no matter what you do (or change in the future).
