I have an '02 firehawk that is for all practical purposes, stock. In a couple of weeks I am going to install a smooth bellows, FTRA, 180 thermostat and a programmer. I was wondering exactly which programmer to get, HPP3, superchips microtuner or the diablo. I will be doing some other bolt on stuff later, but nothing too extreme. I also don't want to mess with LS1 edit without some kind of dyno to let me know if I am tuning in the right direction. Just curious which one you guys think is best. btw, I have some time because I currently live in Michigan and I am looking at about 14" of snow on the ground right now.

I have the HPP III but if I were to do it again I would probably go with the Diablo. I think it does a couple of things the HPP III doesn't and they are always updating and offering custom tuning. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the results I have gotten out of my HPP III. My advice is don't buy used, buy new. You risk a headache or two if you buy a used one. Just my two centovo's!
