I want to get an injector that will hold my current setup, but I want it to hold a later setup which will need alot more fuel. Can I go ahead and get the giant injectors and tune for them or are there certain downsides that I should shy away from this?
Thanks,
Wes

you will probably get diferent oponions on this subject, i say get the one's that will take care of you forever, why do it twice. i think as the injectors gets bigger they may get a little slower and harder to control acurately.
i have 50lb units and it took me a couple of hours to dial them in and now they work fine.

I think parish said it right.
If you are FI, then get the biggest suckers you can and worry about tuning them later. There is nothing worse on FI setups then having to constantly upgrade your fuel system to keep up for your HP apetite.
FWIW 50# injectors can be substantially harder to tune than 42#'s.
If you are NA and plan on staying NA, then there is no reason to go any bigger than 42# injectors. 42#'s on a big motor even leave room for a sizable dry shot.
Good Luck,
Kevin
