3-4 aided shift with 6-speed
3-4 aided shift with 6-speed I was looking at the cags section in LS1 edit. I was thinking it would be possible to use it to block out 2nd gear to prevent a misshift when going from 3rd to 4th. I would think if you could set the speed and load right it would work.

Re: 3-4 aided shift with 6-speed There was some chat about this a while ago. I haven't tried it simply becuase I haven't thought of it when I flash my car.
I have a feeling that it wouldn't work, because the CAGS relies on the car to be in 2nd gear before engaging, but I'm not sure on this.
If my memory serves me, somebody was going to try and rig up something to manually engage the CAGS solenoid while the car is in 3rd gear. This would be really easy to rig up.
Whether it works or not, it is a good idea and would probably save alot of valvetrains.
