Just wondering if there was a Real-Time Data displays like the APEXi displays that the turbo imports use for our cars, i'd love to have one of those they are very helpful and pretty damn cool.

 

I used to have an apexi s-afc on my car. You could tune the the stock mas signal by +/- 50% and you could also monitor some other parameters. It did have setting for v8's on there and several different type of mas sensors.

 

so was it worth having?

 

Let me correct my statement. I had it on my Eagle Talon. It was by far one of the best mods I did for the car.It took my car to 11.61@119 on a totally stock ecu and motor. Just bigger injectors and fuel pump, with your other usual upgrades.

I could tune for injectors, racegas, pumpgas etc. You just had to have something to read your timing adv, knock and 02's.

I havent had it on my ls1. I have ls1edit now. Im sure it would work, and work well, and be very user friendly.

 

Ramchargers makes a display (scan master) that can show you real time data. Its not near as good looking as anything Apex'i makes, BUT, it will fit perfect in the 'cateye' A/C vent, and it just a three wire hookup.

I am sure it would work great. Hve used it on many cars. No v8's as of yet but I am suprised more FI ls1 guys dont use it.
