how to get my new 422 to idle ??
hHello all !
I have a new 422 iron block in my 99`C5, A4.
I raised the idle speed, but donīt know what to do with idle air and IAC park.
Right now I need to hold the gas to run the engine at 1200 rpm, if I let off it dies.
I donīt wanna drill ahole into the TB.
Isnīt that what the IAC park table is instead??
So what should I read with AUTOTAP??
And what should I change in the IAC park and idle air table.
Also Iīm running rich as I have #36 Bosch injectors, that flow about #42 on 58PSI.
How much should I scale my IFR table (I needed 20% lean setting on the MAF-T, but I donīt wanna use it anymore and theirfore scale the IFR table)??
One other thing:
I have a 4.030 bore on my 6l truck block and a 4.125 crank, 6.125 'H' beam rods
What do I need to fill in to the "cylinder size" field??
Thanks, Michael
