MAFT Tuning (Problem?)

MAFT Tuning (Problem?) I've attached a MAFT because my car is running lean and pinging above 3500 RPM. I had it set a couple of different ways, 1. lowest percent rich across the band and 2. 5% rich at WOT. Both bog down the idle to around 500 RPM. Am I doing something wrong? The car wants to stall. I have a 99 SS with Whisper lid, Powershot filter, Composite MAF ends, FTRA. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: MAFT Tuning (Problem?) The car needs to relearn each change you make so a bog is normal.
If you don't have A-tap to tune the MAFT in I would suggest base setting on 0 and WOT setting set to 6%rich to start with.

Re: MAFT Tuning (Problem?) Sorry, I had the Base & WOT mixedup in my head when I posted. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll give it another try and run it for a while. Hopefully the idle goes back up from 500 RPM <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

mine is a 02 MN6 with a lid, bellows and MAF Ends
I'm running it 10% rich base which leaves my LTFTs just slightly negative.
My WOT is set at 2% Lean which reads about 887 mv on my 02s.

Re: MAFT Tuning (Problem?) Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I tried JAMRWS6's recommendations but set it to 5% to start. The car feels much smoother and better throttle response <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> So far so good on the idle. Looks like I found the power I lost. I have a little hint of a ping at 5k but I have a few more mods ready for install then I'll try it again. A scanner is definitley in order though. Thanks for the responses guys.
