Battery HELP !!!!!

Battery HELP !!!!! I have a 99 Camaro SS and I don't drive it everyday but I try to start it at least once a week, but for some reason every time I try to start it the battery is dead, I can't find anything being left on but the battery is dead every day. Does anyone know what it could be???????

Re: Battery HELP !!!!! Are there any lights staying on in your car? Is the battery original? Battery may have a bad cell too. If no lights are on, have your battery tested. If battery OK, have a parasitic battery draw done on your car. Anything more than 20 milliamps draw would be considered too much.

The helms manual has the parasitic test info in it, you can do the test yourself with the right multimeter. i did it. i even pulled the alternator thinking the the regulator malfunctioned.

Re: Battery HELP !!!!! Even with the car off the PCM is still drawing up to a 1/2 amp of current per day so it is always better to have a battery tender hooked to battery to supply more voltage into the battery then what the car's electronics are using when car is sitting for days.
Over time low votage in battery could cause one of the battery cells to weaken or go bad.

Re: Battery HELP !!!!! I did buy a new battery and it still happened so I assumed it's not the battery but I will check a couple more things. Thanks for all the advice, it helped alot.
