Default What the hell did I do? Help!

OK, guys, I need some advice. This weekend I installed my ATI D1SC! Everything went great. I didn't change the injectors - I wanted to see how everything was running before I continued. The car ran great, but as expected my LTFT's were running high. After a couple easy spins around the block it finally set off codes for the lean condition. Tonight I installed my 42lb injectors and scaled the injector flow table via LS1Edit. This was my first experience with ALL this. Well, now the car hunts for an idle, it still shows high LTFT's, and won't accelerate for *****! (misfiring, etc.)What the hell did I do and where do I begin?

Oh yeah, it's an '02 6 speed.

I don't know exactly how long it takes, but
long term trims are, well, longer term; you
need to spend enough driving time in each one
for it to establish a new value.

If you were lean w/ stock injectors, then went
to 42lb and scaled by the flow rating ratio,
then you would be just as lean afterward. Yes?

Idle will hunt when lean. There's an idle relearn
procedure, you might run through that as a start.

Then I think you'll have to drive the car, as-is,
long enough to establish the new LTFTs for certain,
get a new "map" of them, and touch up the table
again, lather, rinse, repeat.

Thanks for the reply, Jimmy. Everything you said makes sense and was kinda the thought path I was on regarding the lean condition. (I'm at least not getting the SES light any longer). At this point, what I'm more concerned with is the misfiring / bogging I'm getting. It's beginning to idle ok but if I give it anymore than say 15-20% throttle, it just kinda bogs, surges, misses. My initial though was plug fouling, but I pulled a couple and they look fine. Maybe a vaccuum leak associated with the injector swap? I looked at the injectors and couldn't see anything obvious. I'm also getting quite a bit of KR (~5-6) upon application of said throttle. But at this point, I don't know if I need to back out timing, because I'm hypothesizing that the PCM is trying to overcompensate for the misfiring by putting in extra advance, only to KR it back out.

Jeez, and computers were supposed to make things easier...
