Dyno results. 2000 WS6 M6 w/Macs
Well, I got my car dynoed for the first time today. I was mostly concerned with getting my A/F tuned in correctly. Surprisingly the tuning I did with LS1Edit was right on the money. My A/F was about 12.8 in the lower RPM range up to 12.1 towards 6000 rpm...
Anyways, the results are as followed:
RWHP- 326.4
RWTQ- 336.4
Here it the graph: http://www.tatommy.com/dynoruns.htm
My only power mods are mac's with ORP, Magnaflow cat-back and Whisper lid. The guys at Eastside thought these would good numbers given the mods.
What do you think?

What were your BEFORE dyno #s ??? I put out 324/335 with just lid and catback, mine is an 02Z-M6 though. I have MACs w/ ORP now. Just wondering how much ya picked up with the headers... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

As I mentioned, this is the FIRST dyno EVER for my car!
It seems that the 01-02 cars are stronger stock. Maybe it has to do with their intakes...

I would agree as well, the difference is mostly due to the intake <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
A friend and I both dynoed our cars on the same day back-to-back; mods were: same cams, different intakes, (mine was LS6 and his LS1) and different headers (mine are long tubes his were Mid length).
The results were 30RWHP in my favor <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Sorry J, told you to get the LTs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

hi tommy,
nice numbers. i personally think 12.1 is too rich at the top end. i shoot for 12.9; it adds power and won't induce KR on the strip/track.
if you are juicing it, then keep it that rich.
just my two cents. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

2MCHPWR,
Thanks! It's funny you mention it, because I took a look at the chart today, and did some more research, and I am definitely going to lean out the upper RPM range a bit.
I can't wait to go home and Edit my car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Damn work....

Re: Dyno results. 2000 WS6 M6 w/Macs
Honestly, I think you're numbers are low. My 00' dynoed 332 rwhp, and 335 rwtq with a lid, cutout, and free mods being the only power mods. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
You might want to re-check your tuning, because it seems as if the car is running really rich. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: Dyno results. 2000 WS6 M6 w/Macs
Well, I rescaled the whole table, and pulled extra fuel in increments at the top.
I did have the whole PEvsRPM scaled to 93%
Now I have:
0-4400 92%
4800 90%
5200 89%
6000-7200 88%
I tried to follow where the a/f line dipped.
Anyways, the car definitely pulls much harder above 4500 now. (it used to feel a little slugish way up top) Wish I would have had this setup while on the dyno! Well, I'll do another mod or two, then dyno it again.
Until then I'll just have to note in my sig "dyno before final tune" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Thanks for all the comments, they were helpful.

Re: Dyno results. 2000 WS6 M6 w/Macs
sure hes gonna get you from a dig if he's an auto.
also an auto is a completely different ball game than a 6 speed as far as hp numbers on a dyno

You want to hit around 12.6:1 at your torque peak and lean out to 13:1 at your HP peak <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
