OK, hear me out, before you start yelling! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

To completely prevent the dreaded 3rd to 2nd misshift, maybe we can modify the CAGS setting like this:

1. Set the "Enable speed" around 70mph and "Disable speed" around 90mph (or whatever near redline is in 3rd gear). (You would NEVER want to go to 2nd at this range anyway...)

2. Then, set "%TPS to disable" 100% (so it never disables via throttle position)

3. Not sure what Load in Kpa should be set for, but I'm sure it could be figured out....

Does this make sense? This could prove useful...

Harlan - aka y2khawk - has a "drag cags" listed on his website - but I don't think it ever materialized. Its defenitly an interesting and certainly valuable idea if you can get it to work.

I think that this is a great idea because I have done the dreaded 3rd to 2nd shift 2 or 3 times,,, not a good thing. In part, I think that I tend to do the 3rd to 2nd shift depending on how I'm positioned in the seat.
