Timing? Where to set it

How much timing would you say a bolt on LS1 should be set to? 28 degrees? more? less?

28 is not bad about as much as you want to go. Any KR?

if your tuning w/a wideband, pick an afr, get the right amount of fuel then basically as much timing as possible w/out kr... and if you go too far it will kr...

i could only get my cam only setup to 26* without kr,that was with 13.0-13.3 afr and on 93 octane.

when i had stock heads i could only get 26 *,now it's 28,i think anyways.

also when adjusting your timing keep in mind this is peak timing ... you don't want to set it 28* across the board. Generally you want lower timing around peak torque (highest cylinder pressures) and most timing around peak horsepower
