predator owners enter please,
Thanks guys <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
and its cable plugs into the ALDL connector.
The DB9 is only used for uploading different
programming to the Predator (so far). You don't
need anything to do normal car programming.
A serial cable to your PC would be needed for
updates / custom tunes (or, if they ever decide
to add logging / real time data export ability,
hint, hint).
Thanks a ton BLK02WS6
Anyway it would appear that you guys are talking about a way to download the Diablo programs to a PC, is this correct?
If so what are the benefits, other than for backup purposes?
I cant wait to get my diablo so Im curious about its abilitites.
The ability is once you do mods to the car, you can upload your tune to your PC, then mail it to Diablo. They can then make adjustments to your tune, mail it back, and you download it and put it in the car.
I am waiting on the new tune for my LS6 I just put in. I can't wait to get it and head for the dyno!
Any of you used the custom tune service yet? I was wondering how long does it generally take them to write a tune?

Do you know what the exact cost of such a custom tune is?
I plan to go to the track this weekend and the next to play with the Diablo tuner. Hopefully I will see some gains in the quarter. Either way getting rid of my SUPER SLOW 100 mph top speed governor will be bliss, especially when on my way to work <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
