Well I'm sure everyone else will say the same. Save the money and get a real tune done.

200mph,

Spend the extra money and buy a tuning software package.
It will allow you to tune many, many more parameters than a handheld.

Sure, it costs more, but it gives you so much more.
There is a learning curve, but there's alot of people here that can help you, and you'll master the curve.

When you do get it, you'll seriously wonder how you ever did without it.
Best money ever spent, on anything, no regrets.

I have a handheld sitting at the bottom of our "unused stuff" closet in our hallway; used it maybe a few times.

Regards,
Joe

If your locked into a handheld, the Vinci is the only one that will change the idle, predator won't.

Goto the following sites:
www.hptuners.com
www.efilive.com

Search LS1Tech using the following words:
HPTuners --> "HPT" "HPTuners" "HP Tuners EIO"
EFILive --> "EFILive" "Flashscan" "EFI Flashscan"

Read this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....36&postcount=2
(Do not make any posts asking which package is the best/better because it will start a war...
we each love our packages to the death...)

Read both sides' views and opinions, and make up your own mind;
remember, it'll cost maybe 2x what a handheld goes for, but you'll be able to tune 200x as many parameters.

EFILive have downloadable software that runs in demo mode (allows you to play with sample tune files):
http://store.efilive.com/download.aspx
http://store.efilive.com/download.aspx#v7
http://store.efilive.com/download.aspx#tutorials

HPTuners probably has the same thing.

Regards
Joe
