Default Timing, Colder plugs, high compression ect...

Our cable is back @ HP getting upgraded and we just changed to colder plugs in one of the cars. The car has a semi-max effort 346 - ET 225 heads, ~11.5:1 238/244 cam. We just switched from TR55 to TR6 plugs and wonder if we should be running more timing(idle and cruise) with a colder plug. Going back and looking at programming on my 346 solid roller we're running 5-9 degrees more timing. Whats the highest timing you guys are running at idle?

Phil
I am running 28 @ idle, and 28 @ WOT
I will be trying to dial in the idle a little more in the next few days. I will try lowering the timing and then raising it to see what works best.
What timing have you found to work best so far at idle and WOT?
Also what does your WOT timing curve look like?

i run 28* at idle but have run 32*. you can be more agressive with the cold plugs in the part throttle range with less risk of tip in. i went from tr55 to tr6 and the car seemed to like that a lot better.
