Default P0101 & P0121

Anyone ever come across these two codes? I know one is for the MAF and one is for the tps sensor I believe. A cam was switched in an ls1 to something slightly larger than a trex cam and then it started thowing these two codes. Any help is appriciated.

Regards,

Eric

Dunno if this will help you, but when my vette was throwing that code a year back I checked everything possible related to the code and in the end it turned out to be a crushed intake gasket. The air being sucked in through the bad gasket was causing an error between what the MAF said and the 02's read. The car would cut power badly under hard acceleration almost like a premature rev limiter.

Good Luck

P0121- Throttle Position Sensor A Circuit, Range Performance

Not sure what it means though. I'm getting the same reading on mine right now.
Buddy of mine suggested replacing the TPS so I'll do that today and see if it goes away.

/edit : wow I feel stupid. Just realized Throttle Position Sensor is TPS.

take a look in the diagnostics section of hpt for the p0121 min max settings...you'll probably need to bump them up.

set "p0121 error max map" to 100kPa and set "p0121 error min map" to 0kPa in order to dissable the test for p0121.
