Logging MAF frequency
I have HP Tuners and I've got my VE and PE tuning done, and I'd like to dial the MAF back in so I can use it again. However, I can't figure out how to setup HP Tuners to log the MAF frequency. As you know, the instructions say:
"1.) Make sure you log Dynamic Airflow vs MAF Frequency (Hz) In HP Tuners it is measured in lb/min so we will have to convert this later for the MAF table (g/sec)."
How do you setup the histograms to do that?

I am currently using the #8 Histogram. All you have to do is:
1. Select the # Histogram you want to use.
2. Click on the Configure Histogram button next to #8.
3. Type in the name of the histogram.
4. Click on the PID Heading and expand the Engine list. Expand the Airflow list and select Dynamic Airflow.
5. Select the units you wish to use. I use g/sec with the decimals set to 2.
6. Set the Plot coloring to what you wish. I use 512g/sec as the high and 0g/sec as the low.
7. Select the Table heading and select the MAF Airflow vs. Output Frequency.
8. Make sure the unit is Hz.
9. Click the save button at the top of the window.
On the table display, you can individualy set each parameter to SAE ot Metric. I use Metric for the airflow parameters.

The instructions I gave will log the actual airflow vs frequency. That can be copied/compared against the stock table. I used the MAF % errror and really did not help much. With the actual airflow, I dialed my MAF table in perfectly and the STFT's are within -4 and -1.

You don't even need a wideband to do this. The table will log dynamic airflow at all the frequency ranges supported by the PCM.You could copy and paste the actual airflows into the MAF table and smooth, if necessary.
