Default New Injectors = KR?

Ever since I changed to a set of flow matched FRPP red top 30#s, Ive been getting some nasty KR. I tuned these via the spreadsheet from 40psi to 58 psi. Ive since straightened out my VE table with my wideband. Why and I getting spots of 8* or even 12* of KR? Is there something else that needs to be adjusted other than IFR?

i'd guess one of them isn't working right. did you scan for misfires on each cylinder? does it run rough?

I didnt scan for misfires but im not getting any codes. The car runs smoother than I could ever hope for. It feels like a new car, and almost all my cam bucking is gone since the new injectors. The KR shows up mostly at low rpm (1000 - 1600) at medium MAP ranges, and seems like it mst be happening at throttle transients. Its not like im getting a couple degrees of KR throught a whole area, it only some isolated severe instances...

did you try to see if it goes away with 100octane? if it goes away then it's real knock, if it doesn't, then it's fake. how much timing you got in these cells?

I dont have anything over 93 available, although I could always mix in a can of toluene. I believe it to be real knock becuase I didnt have it with the stock injectors.

Ported 241 casting heads, 232/234 112 +2 cam.
SCR: 10.844
DCR: 8.191

The plot thickens. I took the car out for lunch today. 10 minute drive to moes southwestern grill. On the way there, I had spots of 6 and 8 degrees KR. However on the way home I couldnt get a single instance of KR, no matter how hard i tried. Perhaps it has something to do with wether or not the car is up to operating temperature? FWIW, I rarely if ever have even a single degree of KR at WOT all the way up to 28 degrees. I dont hear any weird exhaust rattles that recently came to be, so i dont know what would trigger false KR. Ive also run two tanks (from different gas stations) with the same issue, so i dont think it was bad gas.

Ill log my ride home and see how it does, if it shows the KR, ill post my current bin and log for anyone interested to check out.

Didnt have any noticable KR the whole ride home last night, and again this morning. WTF?!? Illl drag this back up when I get a good log file...
