maf need help i got a maf that the metal part was taken off and ported and i got a regular one,well with the tech 2 before i took off the original one it measured at 12.34 and then when i put the other one one it was at 9.24,wich would be better?

you can try increasing the entire MAF table by about 15-20% and put the bigger one in. Altho like someone said above, It will be a tunning ADVENTURE. Basically you are allowing more air to flow thru but the MAF will see a the same frequency(sometimes less) for any given GPS of air vs the stock MAF. So by increasing the entire MAF table by a percentage it will adjust for SOME of the changes to the MAF. It can be done, Altho it will be difficult to tune.
