What mods do you have? What do you have to "tune" it? If you have a major tuning software set and a wideband then yes I am sure you will find it evident that it needs to be re cal'd. If you have no other mods, which I think slp intended it to be used then you'll probably find that all it does is lean you out a little via an extra resistor they put in line with the other factory elements. Since GM runs these cars a little rich with the factory cal SLP just leans them out a little for a little gain. Now if you are modded beyond a lid and a MAF, ie. intake, heads, cam etc. Then it will really need to be re cal'd. More info=more answers for you.
