Hi guys-i have a 02 Z06 with a A&A P1SC kit. Car will be making no more than 12lbs of boost. I'm not going to be running speed density but I would like to log boost. I was going to get the autometer electric boost/vacuum guage-does it have outpuits to log boost with the i/o cable with HP tuneres? Or do I just simply get a new map sensor and just read the map readings? Thanks!

Probably buy a 2-bar MAP sensor, wire it up with proper
power, log the voltage and make a custom PID to convert
that to pressure. All of the MAP sensors appear to run
0.5V (zero MAP) to 4.5V full scale, that being 29.4 PSI
(or something like) for a 2-bar sensor. I've found MAP
sensor datasheets on the Web before that provide the
calibration info. If you want it in relative ("boost") terms
you'd have to subtract BARO (or the initial, before-
cranking reading off the sensor itself could be used in
Excel after the fact and you could do the volts-pressure
conversion that way too if you prefer).
