Default O2 Problem

Ok here is the story, I cant remeber what code it is but the description is Bank 1 sensor 2 slow to respond. I went ahead and replaced the O2 and resest everything with 20 miles the code is back. This all started happening after I put a Fast intake on the car.

Any Ideas?

Might just need a retune for the extra airflow. Maf cal might now be out.
Im guessing, but have you had it retuned?

No I have not had it re-tunned since the Fast intake.

You might also check for vacuum leaks on the intake.

Can you post the actual code? I thought "slow response" codes were for the precat sensors. Bank 1, sensor 2 would be the driver side postcat sensor. Which one did you replace?

More than likely, yes. Its easy to check for vacuum leaks though, just blow some smoke (or have a buddy do it if you don't smoke) around the edge of the intake while its running and see if it gets sucked into the motor somewhere.

Is there a more accurate way to detect a vaccuun leak by scanning? Wouldn't throw off a table somewhere?

I had the same problem on mine, but mine said just "bank" which are the ones closer to the engine. The bank 2 are the ones furthest from the engine
