Default intermitent p0357

This says that there is a problem with coil pack G and the SES light does'nt stay on for long, only for about 2 or 3 restarts. Does that sound right? Does that mean the coil needs to be replaced? And wich one is G? Thanks

P0357 - Ignition Coil 7 Control Circuit. Before replacing the coil I'd swap it with #3 or #5 and see if the code changes. P0357 turns off after 3 ignition cycles without a failure - so that part is normal.

Also, check the connectors (where the main harness plugs into the coil rack)

I had a code (may be same code), problem ended up being that there was corrosion in the connector... I did some continuity tests and it was a **** poor connection

So I cleaned it up, but some grease in the connector to help protect it, and haven't had a prob since

Thanks, I just replaced the coil today with a barrowed one from a friend. I will go back and check that connection though becuase I took that rack off about six months ago and maybe I did'nt make that connection right. Thanks again.
