WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE YOU SET ALL THESE DTCS? AND CARE TO SPEND THE TIME TO LOOK THEM UP AS WE'RE NOT ALL WALKING OBDII DICTIONARIES (THERE IS A STICKY WHERE YOU CAN DO SOME FOOTWORK TO LOOK THEM UP)

I'M GUESSING SOMETHING YOU JUST CHANGED IS CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS, SO WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY CHANGED ON THE CAR?

ALSO ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD IS A CAPSLOCK KEY, use it, AND NO NEED FOR 2 THREADS SAYING THE SAME THING, AND THIS IS A TECHNICAL FORUM.... SO TOPICS LIKE S HOTTIE DO NOT HELP YOUR CAUSE....

FOR OTHERS, THE PREVIOUS POST (WHICH WAS 2 POSTS BELOW THIS ONE AND WAS NOT MOVED HERE FROM ANOTHER SECTION) WAS "Hotss Needs Help Grom The Guys "

She just put the LS1 women back 3+ years...

and Hotties are good... but in a technical forum their credibility is near Zero...

If you are truly a 'hottie' then just stand there and look good.. dont try to 'learn stuff'

Default Thanks For Tthe Help

Ya I Realize This Is Serious Stuff To You Guys As It Is Me. I Have Alot Of Money Tied Up In My Car As I Am Sure You Alos Do. Thanks Again. I Had No Codes Until I Installed The Long Tubes. I Have Look All Codes Up And They All Relate To O2's. I Was Told By A Couple Of Guys That It Could All So Be The Use Of The 100 Shot Nos I Am Using. Like I Mention Not Until The Long Tubes Went In Did The Problem Start And At The Same Time I Had Been Using The Nos, They Said Something About Burning Up The O2's. The Complant Codes Were Just Two, 135,and 155. Its Been 6 Months Since With More Codes Coming All The Time, 161, 141, 1153 Whcih All Suggested 02 Problems. Should I Just Replace All Of Them Or Install Sims At The Rear And New In The Front. I Have Taken It To Several Repaire Shops With None Really Knowing What To Do.

I Have Read This Forum Several Times And It Looks Like You All Have A Much Better Feel For This. I Have Taken All The Readings With My Hand Held Reader And Then Look Up. I Am Truely Stumped. Thanks Again For The Help And Any Suggestions.

I'll make this quick for you since you are apparently unable to search and just assumed that because you have **** that men would rush in to rescue you. You're probably using some kind of coated longtubes. A lot of headers like that have a tendency of 'burning' off some of their inside, which in turn coats the o2 sensor and renders them useless. So look, you probably need two new front o2 sensors.

I'm also going to guess that you are not using cats, and did not bother to buy sims or have them tuned out. You need to either buy sims for the rear or have a local tuner edit the tune in your PCM to ignore the trouble codes that those sensors will produce.

Last of all, it is nitrous, not NOS. So please put down the fast & furious DVD and stop making the rest of ls1 women look bad. K thx.

unless I'm mistaken... keliente is a she

Just a bit of "tough love" from the ls1tech PCM crowd (make a post asking about performance "chips" for your car and you'll feel the full wrath )

Also keliente is most likely correct... Those are probably a combo of rear O2/Cat and O2 heater codes (there's a sticky to lookup OBDII codes... that generally makes it easier ) which are as mentioned often caused by headers (both coating coming off and effectively clogging/coating, and also because the O2s are further downstream, can sometimes prevent them from heating up as quickly as the PCM likes) ... 430 is a cat low efficiency code so some of the other codes are likely related to missing cats and rear o2s

as for what to do... if I have time tomorrow I'll lookup the codes so I know exactly what's going on (or you can take the initiative ) ... for the price of O2 simms it's better to get a standard mailorder (or find someone local w/tuning software)

Regarding the front O2 (if you have any) codes... do you by chance have O2 extensions installed? (if so... if it's determined to replace the O2s, you want to get the rear 02 sensors for an 02 vette ... since there's no interruption (extra resistance) in the O2 sensor wire, it often fixes the O2 heater code SES lights (I prefer the denso's but others have had better luck w/AC Delco)

Default Thanks For The Suggestions.

I Do Have All Four O2's Installed With Extension On The Fornts And High Flow Cats Installed. I Have Looked Up The Codes And As Follows, 430 Cat Low Efficiency, Catalylic Converter 02 Sensor Not Working Properly, 1153 02 Sensor Is Not Switching Correctly And The Other Four Right And Left And Front And Read 02's Not Working Correctly. It Make Sence That The Long Tubes Coating Could Take Them Out.
Thanks Again For The Suggestions And Any More Would Be Great.

Thanks Karen
