Predator tunes are not locked or protected in anyway, any software slightly more advanced than a handheld will be able to access and display any changes made by the handheld. (Which I hate to say, there ain't a whole lot!)

ah I see. I don't have a predator but was planning on getting one. What I wanted to do is rip the CRG file so I can make my own custom tune and reloaded in the PCM. If I could do this, then it would be woth it to get the presator. If not then EFILive it will be.
if you're even considering the 2, there is no comparison. Take the money you would spend on a predator, and ask yourself would EFI Live be worth the difference considering ALL the extras and abilities that would come with it. If you're looking to do some real tuning, I think you know what you gotta do!
