Does anyone happen to know the wiring connection for the rear o2's? The picture is not showing up.

I really recommend against using the rear 02s.... you are losing resolution... period. 5 volt inputs are used instead of 1 volt inputs for a reason.

Can another input be used, such as the fuel tank pressure?

([PID.2811]/.53)+9.8)
works for me through the EGR
there is an average of a minor 1.5 frame delay on hptuners, but it isn't too hard to work with. no big deal, as sometimes i notice onset of KR is delayed a frame from data output that caused it.

Okay folks, this is driving me nuts.

If you have a wide band o2 and a controller like an lc1 lm1 etc, and you have hptuners om a laptop in the car, what is the point of doing all this EGR or AC pressure line splicing?

Can you not log AFR in HPT with the lc1/lm1? I don't understand why everyone is doing this, what am i missing?

If you have the standard interface there is not a input for the wideband. If you want to log you have to use a sensor input through the ECM. Alot of people remove egr so that is a common point to use. If you have the pro then no problem

Yea theres a guy around here that has his wired to the EGR as well, & seems much more ideal as most delete their EGR. Long writeup & seems like a bigger PITA than just running the EIO wire because you have to run more wires from under the hood instead of just one wire from under the dash. Also, not a good idea if you wanna keep your a/c.

So without doing this you can still view AFR? But only instantaneously, not as a log?

I thought the point of buying the wideband and controller was that you could read AFR? Does that mean you would have to have a gauge to read it? HPTuners can't read it at all without having he pro version?

So I'd need to buy the pro version, a gauge, or do this EGR wire thingie (I don't have my egr anymore but still have the connector right where it was).

Thanks folks, maybe I'm being dense, I appreciate the help.

I have the pro version but pretty sure the non pro version has the analog input green connector on the side of the interface as well. The only thing different with the pro version is you can data log without the laptop. If your interface is older & doesnt have this connector you could use your EGR 5 volt wire for the WB like was explained with the a/c connector.

Oh I see, thanks a bunch. I have no problem logging with the laptop, so I hope I don't need to do the extra EGR wiring.

Thanks guys.

If you do not have the pro you will have to use the egr or ac input to log. Standard does not have any inputs.

I am going to be selling my set up in the next couple of weeks if anyone interested PM me. It is HPtuner and an LC-1 unit wired as below. The extra output (Analog Out 1) is wired to a drum connector so you can easily wire it to the AC or EGR or even a gauge. I will post pictures of the setup soon for demo purposes on those still looking to do something similar.
