Exactly, I can show you a butt dyno improvement on certain year ls1's when raising timing from 22 to 28, the ZO6's i've tuned don't seem to improve at all with additional timing, this being backed up by dyno runs. Each car responds different, which is why you can't always go by one general rule of thumb.

Anyone with HPT or EFI already has the ability to do a full PCM update. Im guessing that the handhelds need a certain OS to be in there in order to update the calibrations. Another reason to steer clear of them and get something that works properly in the first place
