I think 2.1.12 is going to be our biggest release yet, but not because of black box data logging.

Stay tuned!
Blackbox datalogging may not be the biggest feature in the new release, but I paid for it [ahem] 3 months ago

So, as it is now June, when can we expect the May release with blackbox support?

the basics for BB logging are done..then need to do a little firmware and then beta testing...
hopefully it will be ready for 2.1.12
there are a lot of other things they are working on to be released at the same time....thats all I can say about it

it WILL be in the .12 release....10 was released less then a month ago & .11 is in beta which has the backbone of bb logging done, its taken slightly longer in coding it then expected.

My understanding was that bb was already in beta in March ....

It has been internally since last year. Keith has a few things to clean up on the parameter programming via the scanner as the flight recorder capability works with VPW, CAN, etc.

Our moderators will get to play with it for a week or two, then its off to public release. This should happen by the end of next week.

it is an issue with the PCM resolution..pcm stops at 255kph which is approx 158mph
the only fix is to write a custom OS....
that is far from the top of the list rigt now..especially since not many people need this fix...

his burrittos going to explode
im sure the modification is relatively simple to do for the right mind.
im still curious as to what could be bigger than a stand alone data recorder.
