EFILive will not recognize cable?

EFILive will not recognize cable?

Everything was working fine yesterday morning. Modified a tune, uploaded, did some logging, made a few more changes to the tune. Went out to log and nothing.

Now I cannot connect with EFI Scan or Tune? Any ideas? Error message indicated a possible fuse problem with OBDII connection. ?? Maybe they are referring to the ALDL. If so, anyone know where that fuse is on C5?

I had the same problem with my Camaro and it was the fuse. The connector on a Camaro uses the same fuse as the lighter.

I am trying to find out if what circuit my ALDL could be on? I checked both lighter circuits and no blown fuse. I looked at each fuse and could not see a blown. I guess my other option is to pull each fuse and check them one at a time.

What a PITA!!

It is Fuse 29 in my car. Ceiling light/ALDL. Fuse was fine.

Bill, just wanted to send you a "thank you". I just picked up a 99 T/A and my Power Programmer and my EFILive would not see the car. After reading your post, I knew my lighters were not working either.

Sure enough, blow fuse.
