converting to a megasquirt file...help

my buddy is running megasquirt on his 71 ls1 powered camaro and he wanted to snag my tune for his megasquirt, and he told me that there is a tool to convert ls1edit files to megasquirt but i am running efilive. are they the same type of file? is there a tool to convert efi live to ls1edit? is there a tool that will port efi live strait to meggasquirt?

P.S. I have ls1edit on my laptop along with the cable, but i don;t wan't to spend the $250 to get it revined to my car...

um... there is no tool...

LS1 Edit files are encrypted...
EFI Live files are encrypted...

Megasquirt uses a different processor and operating system than our stock PCMs...

Your buddy heard wrong... he *may* be able to copy over a few tables manually... but he would be better off tuning his particular car instead of using a tune for your car
