Traction control gone?

I hate it but would like it on rainy days. Today my traction control off light came on upon startup. It will not toggle back and forth? Bad switch? How do I check? It saved me once on a wet road with thin layer of mud.; Any help appreciated. Yes I did a search.

Check your plug to your rear sensors. You can find the plug harness attached to the body under the car above the axle on the driver's side. It has happened to me once before....the plug came loose.

try a burnout flipping the switch, if it roasts them like it should then you'll know if its working or not...

Already did, it is innactive. Roasted them quite well.

i was dynoing and when the we were done... they unclipped the straps from the car and there is an area on the drivers side of the car in the back to the left from the center of the car(in from the wheel on the drivers side) that has a lot of plugs... check those.

mine made my TCS and ABS go off
