Auto tranny pcm on m6 car?
Will an auto tranny pcm cause problems with an m6 car? We're trying to get a tune on an ls1 rx7... the motor/tranny is a 99 camaro setup, but the wiring harness and ecu are 00 silverado. Obviously, the silverado was an auto. We're having a bunch of weird issue... we can get a solid tune at idle, but as soon as we drive the car everything goes to hell. We're throwing a ton of tranny codes. Is there something we need to change to make the auto tranny ecu cooperate with the manual tranny car?

This problem is acutally with my car, but was posted under Digitalsolo's name. I have accessability to HP Tuners and can flash the PCM myself, but I am not sure what all has to be done. What problems will running a A4 PCM on a M6 cause.

The PCM should be no issue at all. All you need to do is get a file/tune from a M6 car and flash it in, and then start your tuning
The PCM is just a computer and the tune is the program. I think the 512kb PCM is the same across Corvette, Camaro and even Holden.
