Playing devil's advocate, do you still have the option of using the laptop to datalog as well, or will it only be via blackbox?

not boasting...but we have to test alot of variables right? I've tried to throw every variable possible at it that way you guys don't have to get an update 2 days after its release for something we shouldve found through testing

I think I came up with 67 minutes of data logging doing a 24byte setup and 1 EIO input being used which makes it log 10 frames per second......

the unit has around 1.25mb of space...so its gonna vary on time based on how many bytes/pid's you use up...

I did a log on fathers day..just driving to dads house...about an hour drive....I got here..checked things out..my dad was impressed with the thing and he doesnt even have a clue about tuning...other than he knows I do it..LOL

I've also thrown some odd situations at it too...
turned of car before hitting stop...
unplugged the thing before hitting stop....

basically testing out things forgetful people would do...

I even purposely stopped for gas and let the thing run..so it would se an engine/pcm stop and then a restart...LOL

I let the keys on and put markers every gallon of gas I put in while wathcing the fuel stuff... had a file with 14 markers in it all spaced prett close together..LOL

What did the logs look like when you did thses things? When you turned off the car did the log stop and then autometically restart when you turned the car on or did it sepperate into 2 logs?
