Default Can ABS be tuned for different OD tire sizes?

I was just curious with ABS, can it be tuned to accept the 17/18 rim combo like the Vettes??? I ordered a 17/18 combo, but I want a bigger OD difference in my tires than just a 1/2".
I'm either going to delete ABS with a delete kit, or if it can be tuned.....I'll look into that, thanks guys!

If I could ever find some info on the damn system!!! They are hiding that stuff.

The only way I can think of to get around it is some custom computer system that emulates the signal making it look like all wheel are the same size and then if the signal truly goes out of bounds it stops lying to the ABS module; not worth my time. That would take a PIC chip and a lot of playing with code.

OR rewiring the sensor system to where it thinks it sees all wheel sensors but in reality only two are hooked up.

I just drive with the lights on. ABS is annoying anyways. I never had it on my first car. I can drive.

It's not tunable right now because ABS in in the BCM. It would take some sort of piggy-back system or different tooth count reluctior rings to fix the problem.

I have the same problem.

255/40/17
275/40/18

Lights come on after a few minutes on the highway. ABS doesn't really know when it should come on. (When I brake at the track, it turns on and off..heh).

I'd kill to have a workaround for it, but I figure I'll just have to get the "right" tire size. Sigh.
