'00 ecu in an '01 car?

'00 ecu in an '01 car? Just wondering if you can use the ecu out of a 2000 model car in a 2001. I know 01-02 don't have egr and stuff, so I'm not sure if it will work.

Judging by the ecu pinouts for both years it looks like they will work. All the pinouts are the same. Only difference is the egr pinouts are not used on the '01.
