Cam sensor differences?

Cam sensor differences? Why does a 98 LS1 have a cam sensor AC-Delco #213-355 & a 99-02 has a AC-Delco#213-363. What are the differences? They look identical. Could a 98 Cam sensor controlled by a 98 PCM be installed in a 2006 LS6 block without problems?
