Functions of Tuners

I can't seem to find any concrete list of what each tuner can do even on the mfg sites: my prob is as follows, does HPtuner or LS1edit have functions for gear changes, i've read there both great for tuning but I just ordered 4:10's and need to be able to correct for gear ratio's I would also like premative tuning tools for long tubes, ORY, cam basic bolt ons

www.hptuners.com/help it pretty much lists EVERYTHING hptuners can change as well as descriptions to everything.

all of the tuning software, even the suckass ones, can change for gearing.

HPtuners and EFI live can also do everything else you can think of.

Thanks, do you think if I found someone cool at the dealership they could just change to correct for the gears? I really don't want to buy a tuner till I need it

There weren't any 4th gen F-Body's that came w/a 4.10 gear... so I doubt any dealership could help you out (from my understanding a tech2 as a dealership has it can't tweak individual tables... they have to write the files they get from GM)

i think your right. they cant change tires sizes unless they came on a vehicle.
