Default Can issues in Bank 2 cause code in Bank 1?

I have a "too lean Bank 1 code (PO171)".

I have looked for exhaust/intake leaks, replaced the O2, found and fixed some PVC leaks, re-checked the plug wires on Bank 1 (driver side). I am still getting PO171, however.

Can issues (e.g., a bad plug wire, exhaust leak, or bad O2 sensor) in Bank 2 casue a PO171 too lean code in Bank 1?

Thanks????

i would doubt it, you can swap all that stuff over to the other bank though to see if it changes sides. Have you swapped all fuel injectors over? or Checked fuel pressure on both sides of the rail? maybe that little fuel buffer is bad?

No, I have not swapped Bank 1 and Bank 2 fuel injectors or measured the fuel pressures at the rails.

Question: If the O2 sensor in Bank 2 was providing faulty readings would the PCM adjust the F/A ratio and make Bank 1 run too lean?
