Can I temporarily "tune out" the IAT sensor ??

you want to keep the IAT sensor... what I would do (and what others have done) is run a straight tube from TB to lid , then drill a whole in it and place the IAT sensor in it
However... if you absolutely want to disable it... just do the resistor mod ... i forget the sizes.. but you can use a resistor to trick the IAC into thinking it's a constant temperature

But I don't HAVE that IAT sensor yet....it'll be here in 2-3 days and I'd like to run it this way until then.....

You can pull the iat sensor out of the maf with a pair of needle nose pliers. Then just take the sensor and put it in your intake tube. I used JB weld on mine. Then you just have to cut the wires and wire them to the sensor.
This is assuming we have the same maf.
