Does anyone one with the BS3 and an Automatic know how to hook up the speedo? I tried slicing 2 wires into the BS3 VSS to the stock computer but the speedo doesn't work and the car wont shift out of first.

I have a C5 vette.....1998 running the stock PCM piggy back. I have the configuration set up for 40 ppr which is the VSS output

any help would be usefull...

Do you have the BS3 transmission controller?

 

Yes I do. It is configured properly and the tire size gear ratio was entered along with the 40ppr driveshaft signal.

I have checked all connections. I am in the process of changing the VSS (dont think this is the problem).

With the engine at 2000 rpm in the speedo on the BS3 reads 6mph. It should be reading faster...I am going approx 15mph. Therefore no shift..

Something is just not right...cant figure it out!!
