I was looking around in my car, under the center console, i noticed that my car is wired up for traction control, but there is no switch. my ABS INOP light and brake light are on, is there a connection?

Do a search. There is a thread about the wiring harness that GM used. Something about it was cheaper to mass produce one wiring harness instead of making two different ones

Also you could look on the firewall by the batery and see if your throttle cable runs to a cylinder shaped motor then to the throttle body. If it does then it had traction control, if the cable just runs straight to the throttle body then it did not. Someone could have taken it off; but I think that would be alot of work.
