Idles/drives great, but stalls in reverse
Car is cam only A4 (stalled) w/ 232/234 cam. Anyone else experience this? Any known fix? RAF & desired airflow are good. IAC's are 60~70 at warm idle. Car goes into reverse ok. But once you start to give it gas and let off, it's starts to surge and stall. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks!

Also, the throttle cracker airflow doesn't really exceed 0.5 grams/sec since I reduced it by ~50% everywhere. Same goes for throttle follower...reduced by 50% everywhere.
Logically, I wouldn't think it should be anything different than 1st gear. The car doesn't seem to surge that much at all (if any) when you hold it in first. I wonder if it's related to the converter? The car idles currently at ~850rpm, drives great, runs strong, etc. Kinda stumped...
Hmmmmm....deja vu

If it only does it in reverse check for a wiring harness that gets pinched when the engine torques the opposite way. If it only does it in reverse and never in drive that is.
