Is there a way to release codes without a scanner? The car isn't drivable at the moment and Im getting a check engine light. Thanks.

What year is your car? I'm thinking '93 was the last year you could do it without a scanner.

It's an '01 drivetrain/ECU. I know you can get the codes out of OBD2 Chryslers by turning the key on and off several times, and cant you jump a pin or two on OBD1 cars after 93?

This is one cool feature on the C5's. You can scan through all DTC's on the DIC and reset them by holding a couple of buttons on the dash.

They'll even clear the code for you too if you want.
