Is there any adverse effects of driving my 00 Z-28 with the SES light on the code is for the o2 sensor. Seems to run fine still.

You can still drive it but get the sensor replaced.

Fine as long as it's not flashing - which one/code is it? If it's a sensor 1 code do it soon.

Having a bad sensor will make you waste tons of gas. When I had a o2 sensor out, I was chugging $20 every 2 days for gas cuz of it. Once replaced, went back up to 4-5 days for $20.

I get 02 Sensor problems occassionally too, including now. P0137 02S CIRCUIT BANK 1-SENSOR 2 LOW VOLTAGE

P0157 02S CIRCUIT BANK 2 SENSOR 2, LOW VOLTAGE

I usually just turn em off and haven't had problems with it. Is that ok??? I have an exhaust cutout which i thought may have added to the problem.

oh and my latest code with the 2 above P0751 SHIFT SOLENOID A, PERFORMANCE OR STUCK OFF. Help me. sorry to cut in on your thread.

Sensor 2's are worthless to the computer. All they do is tell if the cats are still operating the way they should be.

Not sure on that tranny code, though...
