Default Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

If the car has been sitting for a while, basically cold, it'll start up, idle and run A+.

Its when I've parked it, for a 'short' period of time, like 2-5 mins or so, then start it back up (warm). It will still start up, run and idle good enough, but when dirving away is when it'll be fighting me, choking, studdering, etc!

If I shut it back off, & start it uo again, it'll probably be okay, if not, a 3rd shut down/start up will clear it up.

Anyone have a clue what is going on with this thing???
I know this is a really old thread but did you ever figure out what the issue was that made your castle run like this. My car is doing the exact same thing and I've tried and tried to figure it out but I've had no luck.

I think there's an option to send an email if you really need to know.

Yes, we don't like to have 9 year old threads resurrected as it forces people to read all the old posts again before they can help with the new question.
I know that a brand new member cannot start a new thread, but now that you have posted once, you can start a new thread - Please do so.
I will then delete the new posts here and close the thread.

Default Injectors not firing

Did you figure out the issue with misfiring injectors?
I did a 5.3 swap on my 78 malibu & having the same issue, I've used a noid light test on all injectors. Injectors #3,5,2,8 on start up light up, once engine starts they stop pulse.
Replaced #2,4,6,8 with new injectors, have not replaced crank & cam sensors.
Also I'll be checking for codes tomorrow. Any info or help is appreciated, thanks.

Guess you didn't understand my post about opening 9+ year old threads.
Therefore this is now closed. You can start your own thread.
