so i went to go reflash my tune to stock. my motor is stock by the way. and i ended up reflashing my pcm with a new vin so now my efilive cable doesnt communicate with the pcm. is there anyway to undo this?

I thought the only way to change the VIN was with a scantool. Even with EFILive Commercial.

With that said, a Tech2 or something similar is your best bet.

Yeah, reflashing a car at a dealership might run you $35-$70 based on who you know. A new lisence that'll just go to waste is $100 from EFI Live (assuming that's what you're using). I'd check with them over at their forum if that's what you're using. Normally though, I thought it gives you a couple of warning messages before you switch over the VIN???
