Default p0440 evap system code..

ive searched and read all about this code but my car seems to have a slightly different symtom than the others...i checked the gas cap, its good, but at warm idle my car will vary in rpm...itll constantly go from 600-900-600-900, just idling up and down like that? why is it doing that? it sounds like a vacuum leak but where could it be?

get a can of carb cleaner or starter fluid and start spraying around. you'll hear it when you find the leak.
